This site is owned and operated by me, Gayle Watkins, with no employees other than my non-paid assistants below. They make sure I don't get any repetivie motion injuries (by seeing to it that I spend time away from the computer).

I am an RN by training, with a Bachelors degree in business. I worked as a nurse and in the managed care industry for years. I recently became a stay-at-home grandma ..... both roles being new to me. I spent most of my life thus far working outside the home. Making the transition to not going to work every day has not been that easy. There are many things I enjoyed about working outside the home.

I started this web site in 1999 when my family hit some hard financial times. It originally started as a way to help me become more frugal. I began to realize what a wealth of resources existed online, and what a plethora of great deals I was missing out on by not shopping online. I already had a personal website, born out of my desire to just see if I could really learn how to do html. I started the deals and frugal section on that personal site, mainly for myself and my family. I thought this information was too good not to share, and thus CleverClickster was born.

I spend the better part of my life working on this site. It is very time-consuming, but rewarding in more ways than financial. However, the financial piece is what keeps it going, and justifies the time I spend. The site is updated several times per day.
